Lavanya is the founder of Saffron Valley Restaurants, which began in the U.S. Having opened five successful Indian restaurants in Salt Lake City, she is elated to bring Saffron Circle UK to London.
From simple, yet delicious home cooked meals, to aesthetically pleasing fine cuisine, food has been a passion of Lavanya's since a very young age. Her career as an Indian restaurateur keeps her connected to her homeland, and allows her to recreate memories of home on a plate.
Lavanya holds a Master's in Mass Communication with a PR in Corporate Communication. She also completed a post-graduate program in Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Utah. www.saffronvalley.com
Born and raised in Chennai, India, for Satish Kumar hospitality isn't just a profession, it's a passion!
Satish brings over 20 years of management and consultant experience and has worked with brands such as Pizza Hut, British Airways, Dell, Coffee Day and an unmatched desire for providing the highest level of warmth and friendliness to patrons. Upon moving to the U.K, 10 years ago, Satish worked for the Alexander group of hotels as well as being a part of the startup team for the U.K. flagship store of Din Tai Fung.
Satish holds a diploma in hotel management and catering technology from India in addition to higher education from Switzerland.
The bar program at Saffron Circle UK was created by the endlessly knowledgeable Georgia Billing. A Master bartender with a PhD in Nutrition Research, Georgia is passionate about learning and world travel.
Georgia incorporates her own handmade ingredients, from cordials to vermouths, to create unique cocktail experiences for every customer. She currently works as the Bar Manager at the City of London Distillery and Bar. Her previous experience includes working with brands such as Din Tai Fung and Hard Rock International.
